We’re committed to information security and delivering a high-quality service

Last year we announced that we became ISO 27001 and 9001 certified. We have just been through our second external auditing process. We can happily report that we have passed with flying colours.

Working with an ISO 27001 and 9001 certified team like us, ensures some major benefits such as robust information security, high-quality outcomes, regulation compliance, and more efficient project management. Let’s take a look at a few of these benefits in some more detail.

We understand data security and take it seriously

Data is the lifeblood of most organisations, and the volume of data that enterprises create, manipulate, and store is growing. Businesses must have a process to effectively manage risk, select security controls, and continually improve upon these processes; ISO 27001 provides this. Our ISO Management System, which we call our Airteam Management System, is our system for designing and building software. In fact, it applies to everything we do at Airteam, even hiring!

Software quality standards - delivering reliable and desirable products

Software powers nearly everything today - and the need for it to be high performing, usable and desirable has never been more critical. People who use software demand quality products - the bar is high for it to be reliable, fast, simple to use, and look good.

Add to this the business pressures to be first to market and deliver continuous improvements - this can present some real challenges when managing quality.

Benefits of Airteam’s ISO Management System

  1. Take advantage of robust information security: we have a comprehensive set of security controls and measures to protect your data, including an information classification process which defines rules for how information must be treated. This includes customer data, intellectual property, and any other confidential or sensitive information we may be working with.
  2. Enhance your data protection: our processes bake in enhanced data protection measures for confidential and sensitive data. All data we collect, handle, or store must go through these controls to safeguard confidential and sensitive data to prevent loss, theft, or corruption.
  3. Ensure zero security incidents: we have a systematic approach to risk management that helps identify potential vulnerabilities and threats, allowing for proactive measures to be taken. You can benefit from our risk management expertise and minimise the likelihood and impact of security incidents.
  4. Comply with regulatory requirements: ISO 27001 and 9001 certifications demonstrate our commitment to complying with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, such as CPS 234. CPS 234 was created to work in unison with ISO 27001, with requirements aligned with clauses and security controls as outlined in ISO 27001. We stay up to date with the latest data protection and quality management standards, ensuring that your projects are executed in accordance with relevant regulations
  5. Create a quality product: ISO 9001 certification reflects our dedication to delivering the highest quality work. We adhere to well-defined processes and procedures to meet or exceed your expectations.
  6. Work collaboratively to ensure satisfaction: Our ISO certifications reflect our commitment to client satisfaction. We prioritise understanding and meeting your needs and expectations. Our quality management system ensures effective communication, collaboration, and a strong focus on building strong relationships with our clients. By partnering with us, you can expect open lines of communication, responsiveness to your needs, and a client-centric approach that ensures your satisfaction throughout the project.
  7. Streamline your process and speed up delivery: Our ISO 9001 certification means we have established project management processes, including clear documentation of requirements, defined roles and responsibilities, and structured planning and execution.
  8. Benefit from continuous improvements: as part of the ISO certification, we have a culture of continuous improvement for both quality and information security. We conduct regular internal and external audits and update our Management System to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.

Airteam understands the importance of information security requirements for large enterprises and government organisations - all having strict security accreditation requirements when engaging a new supplier. Now that we have achieved and are maintaining our ISO certifications - we can expedite our ability to work directly together.
