Applied AI, built for accountability

Make AI work for your business, from automating complex processes to improving customer experiences and bringing new capabilities to existing software.

Our 100% Australian-based team combines practical AI expertise with ISO 27001 and 9001 certified processes, bringing security, reliability and human oversight to every project.

Practical AI for complex challenges

There’s no shortage of AI ideas. The challenge is knowing which ones are worth pursuing, how they’ll work within your organisation, and what it takes to turn a promising concept into reliable software.

We work with organisations to identify where AI can make a meaningful difference, whether that’s reducing repetitive work, improving customer experiences or bringing new capabilities to existing systems.

As an established software design and development partner, we understand the realities of introducing new technology into complex environments. Our experience across healthcare, finance and other regulated industries means we’re familiar with the security, integration and operational challenges that come with the territory.

We bring that experience to every AI engagement, combining thoughtful design, practical engineering and a clear understanding of the business outcomes we’re working towards.

What we build

From customer-facing assistants to automated workflows, we help you reduce manual work, improve customer experiences and get more from your existing software.

  • Conversational AI

Help customers find information, access services and get answers faster with voice and text-based AI assistants.

For Healthdirect, we built a conversational service finder that handles queries by voice or SMS, with a handover to a nurse when needed.

  • Custom AI agents

Automate repetitive tasks and complex processes with AI agents that work across your existing systems. We build in appropriate safeguards and human oversight, so your team stays in control of important decisions.

  • AI features in existing software

Make your existing software more useful with intelligent search, document processing, summarisation and automated workflows. Introduce new capabilities without the cost and complexity of rebuilding your systems.

AI in action

  • Healthdirect - Service finder

    Healthdirect

We developed a conversational AI tool that helps Australians find appropriate healthcare services through voice or SMS. Built on AWS and extended with Google Cloud technology to improve accuracy, the solution makes service information easier to access while keeping human support available.

  • Total Inter Action

    Total Inter Action

In three weeks, we helped Total Inter Action turn a voice-based sales coaching concept into a working AI prototype. The sprint tested technical feasibility, developed multiple buyer personas and established an estimated operating cost of $7–$15 per ten-minute session, giving the team evidence to inform a potential six-figure investment.

Test the idea before you build it

A working AI demo is one thing. Turning it into secure, reliable software that delivers ongoing value is another.

Our three-week AI discovery sprint gives you a practical way to test your idea before committing to a full build. You’ll get a working prototype, a clearer understanding of the technical challenges and an estimate of what it will cost to take the solution into production.

For Total Inter Action, a three-week sprint produced a voice-based AI sales coaching prototype and established an estimated operating cost of $7–$15 per ten-minute session, helping inform a potential six-figure investment.

Let's discuss your idea

Built for environments where a wrong answer is expensive

Introducing AI shouldn’t mean compromising on security, reliability or accountability. Our experience delivering complex software in regulated industries means these considerations are built into every project from the outset.

  • Human oversight

Stay in control of important decisions, with clear boundaries around what AI can do independently, when approval is needed and when a task should be handed to a person.

  • Security and privacy

Protect sensitive information through secure integrations, controlled access and carefully managed data flows, with Australian data residency available where required.

  • Transparency and traceability

Maintain visibility over AI-generated outputs and actions, with appropriate monitoring, logging and verification to support review and auditing.

  • Certified delivery

Work with a 100% Australian-based team backed by ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified management systems, providing an independently audited foundation for security, quality and risk management.

We put our own AI to work

Your project benefits from our firsthand experience using AI across research, design, development and testing.

Our governance-first AI agent stack helps us manage access, verify outputs and keep people accountable for important changes. It’s practical experience we bring to client projects, helping us understand where AI adds value and where human expertise matters most.

Our AI research

We research and share what we’re learning about AI, helping Australian organisations understand the opportunities, costs and challenges of putting it to work.

Get in touch
Where should we start with AI?

Start with a problem worth solving. We’ll help you assess whether AI is the right approach and identify a practical starting point. Our three-week discovery sprint is designed to test ideas and establish feasibility before you commit to a larger investment.

How do you protect our data?

We consider security and privacy from the outset, including what information AI can access, how it’s processed and where it’s stored. Client data is excluded from our internal AI tooling, and we can accommodate Australian data residency requirements.

Who owns the AI software you build?

You retain ownership of the custom software and intellectual property we develop for you, subject to any agreed third-party licensing terms. We’ll explain any dependencies on commercial AI models or open-source technologies before development begins.

Can you integrate AI into our existing software?

Yes. We can add intelligent search, document processing, summarisation and automated workflows to existing applications. We’ll assess your current systems and recommend an approach that works with your technology and business requirements.

How do you prevent AI from giving incorrect answers?

No AI system is completely error-proof. We manage the risk through testing, reliable information sources, clear boundaries and human verification where appropriate. Higher-risk applications can also include escalation to a person.

What does AI development cost?

Costs depend on the complexity of the solution, integrations and ongoing model usage. Our three-week discovery sprint helps establish technical feasibility and operating costs before you commit to a full build, so you can make an informed investment decision.
